If everything exists as simple numerical data in an online file – in short as 1s and 0s – and if I printed each at roughly the same size, using the same clay – would their materiality transcend their form? In other words, by giving “The Thinker” the same treatment as say, a fire hydrant or the Statue of Liberty, would their homogenous material existence render them equals?
No. The icons were too strong.
